Galleon Beach is situated at Freeman's Bay in English Harbour on the southern tip of Antigua in the heart of the National Park. The surrounding area is a beautiful blend of white sandy beaches, rolling hills, tropical vegetation, marine life, nautical atmosphere, and historical sites.

Grounds are extensive - 20 acres with a variety of tropical vegetation, flowers and trees as well as a large lawn in the center of the property. The elevation is very gentle on the western side of Galleon Beach and a little steeper on the eastern side, providing stunning views over English Harbour, Freeman's Bay and Charlotte's Point.

Nestled amongst all this captivating nature and history, Galleon Beach has 30 beautifully appointed cottages, stretching from the beautiful sand of the quarter mile beach up to the stunning views from the gently sloping hillside.

Accommodations consist of one and two-bedroom cottages, which are located either in the landscaped garden or directly on a quarter mile beach.

Each cottage has its own fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, living room/dining room, sofa bed, patio or balcony and safe. Constant trade wind breezes combined with ceiling fans help keep the cottages cool all year round.

For guests interested in combining recreation with relaxation Galleon Beach has complimentary water sports. These include sunfish, wind-surfing, ocean kayaks and snorkeling.

The reef is merely 75 yards from the beach where guests can explore a profusion of tropical fish and coral. Diving on the south coast of Antigua is wonderful and the hotel provides excellent dive packages in association with Octopus Divers.

Two tennis courts are available to guests. Bookings are made through Reception. Equipment is available.

Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, exotic drinks and excellent cuisine of Colombo's. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and during the season offers live entertainment weekly.

The hotel also offers a complimentary ferry service during the day to Nelson's Dockyard and English Harbour.
