| Message from the hotel: "Update on the developments of the Rockley to Sierra Beach Improvement Project: Construction of the section of the boardwalk directly in front of and to the east of the Allamanda Beach Hotel has been completed with only the landscaping part to be done. Work is still taking place on the west side of the property, where the wooden decking for the boardwalk in now beginning to be installed. Sand is now accumulating for the first time, in front of Allamanda Beach Hotel and a beach is now forming. However the government is not opening the beach to the public until the entire project is completed. The estimated date for the official opening of the boardwalk and beach is August 2008. It should be noted that this is a public project and the hotel cannot control any changes to the project plan, but will keep you fully informed should such changes occur. We are remaining fully operational for the duration of the project. We are continuing our frequent shuttle service to the Amaryllis Beach Resort daily and Rockley Beach, which is only a few minutes stroll away, remains accessible via the road." |
