9 Beaches combines island-class cuisine with an ultra-casual setting.

At the Resort’s heart is the laid-back, Dark n’ Stormy’s Beach Bar and Grill, overlooking the ocean, the resort’s dock, one of the main beaches ‘Sandy Bottoms’, and next door to the Water Sports Center. Leave your mark and nail your flip-flops to the wall… Dark n’ Stormy’s dish up cuisines such as salads, sandwiches and grilled items for lunch daily. In case of inclement weather dining will be inside at Hi Tide.

Hi Tide Restaurant serves a full menu. Expect an eclectic menu with internationally inspired modern cuisine. Dine indoors, on the outdoor veranda, or on the pool deck - all a stone’s throw away from the beach and waters edge. Dinner is served daily. Here you will also find the hot buffet breakfast served daily.

Upstairs of Hi-Tide Restaurant is a full bar, Um Um’s Bar and Lounge, with both a value and connoisseurs wine selection where you can enjoy a cocktail and light fare menu from the outdoor terrace overlooking Sandy Bottoms Beach and Venture Bay. Listen to the waves rolling in.

With A-la-Cart Room Service, food and drink follow you anywhere, whether it is to your cabana or your favorite beach at 9 Beaches. The Resort’s private dining cart with its own menu provides pizzas from their ‘hearth style’ oven, snacks, light meals, beverages, and other goodies. Simply dial a la Carte on the 9 Beaches cell phone (a cell phone is provided free of charge to every cabana), place your order, and your selection will be with you shortly.

The Snack Shack offers cool drinks, ice creams, sandwiches, salads, and snacks, on those hot sunny days; a quick stop from Sandy Bottoms Beach.

Relax and dine in privacy with the Gourmet Picnics. Wiggle your toes in the pink sand or lounge on a hammock, while you and your dining companion indulge in any of Chefs gourmet picnic selections. Ordering a bottle of champagne or a special cake to mark the occasion is not a problem! The Gourmet Picnic…your ‘one of a kind’ experience at 9 Beaches. No shoes required! Available daily for Lunch and Dinner with a required 24-hour notice (surcharges will apply).

ON LAND
Land Sports - Bicycle throughout the Resort’s 18 acres, play a game of tennis, bocce ball, or foosball; all can offer hours of diversion if for some reason 9 different beaches aren’t enough. The young ones might enjoy the swing set aside on the main lawn. The main lawn near the tennis courts also hosts beach volleyball. Golf, horseback riding, and encounters with dolphins are available offsite.

Tennis Court - An all-weather, hard-surface tennis court stands at the Resort’s center. Balls are available to buy at the Snack Shack. Racquets and the use of the court are complimentary. No lights.

Snack Shack - Located by the Den and the main beach, the Snack Shack is the home of the activity equipment, towel rentals, land sports equipment (tennis racquets, volleyballs, etc..), and the Swing Set.

The Den - The Den is a multi-purpose room for the young and those young at heart to enjoy. Whether it is foosball or watching a movie while looking out the windows at the blue waters, playing board games, or doing arts and crafts with your children. The Den is equipped with cable television and beanbags.

Technology - Downshift and download at the same time with Wi-Fi (high-speed wireless connections) over various hot spots around the Resort. There is an Internet and Television Room by Um Um’s Bar and Lounge for your use. In addition, personal DVD’s are available for rent through the Front Desk.

Signal for Service - All guests are provided with a cell phone (1 for each cabana) so even if you are on the beach, you can call for service. Important numbers such as the Front Desk, A la Cart Room Service, the Water Sports Center, and the 9 Beaches Emergency Number are all pre-programmed for easy communication. Long distance calling cards can be purchased from the Front Desk.

Full Service Front Desk/Concierge - Located in the lobby, the Front Desk/Concierge Team will be more than happy to organize any event for you or offer advice about Bermuda.

Bikes and Scooters - Mountain bikes are available to rent from the Water Sports Center for those who want some exercise, while scooter rentals are available for those ranging farther a field. Scooter rentals can be coordinated by the Concierge.

Gift Shop - Located at the Water Sports Centre, selling sundries as well as 9 Beaches and Bermuda souvenirs.

ON THE WATER
Water Sports - Fantasea Diving and Water Sports is location right at the heart of 9 Beaches on Venture Bay. It has the largest list of water sports island wide - go snorkeling for the day, rent a underwater scooter, paddle a kayak around Daniel’s Island or out to the Vixen shipwreck. You can even learn to Scuba. Hobbie-cats are available too. Instructors at Fantasea Diving and Water Sports provide sailing, snuba (a scuba and snorkeling hybrid), and scuba diving lessons. 9 Beaches Front Desk/Concierge Team can also arrange deep sea and reef fishing, cruising in a motor boat, jetski, or on a sailboat, and using outside services.

Swimming Pool - Soak in 9 Beaches’ swimming pool. It is central and looks over Sandy Bottoms Beach.

Beaches – 9 named sandy beaches surround the coastline of 9 Beaches.

Moor up – If renting a boat for the day, a Dock and Moorings are available to use.
