DINING
At Elbow Beach, the cuisine comes with a real sense of heritage. As befits the first hotel to open on the island’s South Shore almost a century ago, they have been leading the way in fine dining ever since. Their restaurants, such as The Seahorse Grill and Lido are award winners many times over. And their bars and nightclub attract the most stylish crowd in Bermuda.

Seahorse Grill
Seahorse Grill The Seahorse Grill has completely revamped its menu, bringing global flavors to Bermuda and introducing a very special grill section - under the direction of new Chef de Cuisine, Terence Clark. Terry hails from South Africa and brings a wealth of knowledge and talent to the Seahorse Grill. Prior to his arrival, he worked in some of London’s top establishments, including two years at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park’s Foliage - the hotel’s signature Michelin starred restaurant. The award-winning Seahorse Grill has long been known for regularly updating its menu and introducing new flavors to the island. Continuing in this tradition of innovative firsts, Terry is taking the menu to another level by combining local seafood and new Bermudian favorites with a selection of grilled dry-aged Prime Black Angus beef dishes. The menu is now a fusion of global flavors with a touch of Asian influence. The Seahorse Grill also offers a selection of healthy Spa cuisine items for those wanting lighter fare. The ambience is traditional, with Bermuda stone walls and tray ceilings, enriched with exotic fabrics and cooled by rattan paddle fans. A partially covered terrace offers al fresco dining under the stars and beautiful, panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Lido
LidoLocated above the beach, Lido is newly renovated and offers sophisticated oceanfront dining with modern ambiance. The menu is an innovative mix of seafood specialties with Mediterranean touches – like the Madako Octopus Carpaccio in soy lime dressing, and the Seared Wild Salmon in a light curry sauce, with Lobster Ravioli. Another award winner at the “Best of Bermuda” Gold Awards in 2003 – this time for ‘Excellence of Food & Entertainment’ and ‘Most Attentive Staff’ – Lido is a popular, smart casual choice for the evening – not least because patrons receive free entry to the hotel’s Deep nightclub.

Mickey’s Bistro
Mickey’s BistroAt Bermuda’s only bistro on-the-beach, enjoy a casual dinner under the stars. Mickey’s Beach Bistro & Bar is the perfect choice for beach fare. The menu is simple but satisfying, with selections like Shrimp, Scallop and Pineapple Skewers Grilled with Light Lemon Sauce, and Mango Cheesecake with Orange Sauce. Everything is always fresh and delicious – and never more so when enjoyed at supper time, underneath the stars.

The Veranda
Veranda Bar & Terrace: Bermuda’s first and only rum bar offers a unique selection of 50 rums, including Bermuda’s own black rum. The Veranda Bar has the bonus of a covered terrace overlooking Bermuda’s South Shore, which makes it the perfect spot for happy hour, cocktails or a light snack. This vintage bar combines the décor of a cozy Cuban jazz club with the energy and music of the Caribbean tropics, all with a distinct Bermudian flavor. For sports fans their 52’ inch high-definition TV allows for viewing of all major international sports events. Cigar lovers will appreciate the opportunity to enjoy their favorite Cuban cigar from the island’s best selection, carefully preserved in its climate-controlled humidor.
Veranda Lounge & TerraceVeranda Lounge & Terrace: In accordance with English tradition, every afternoon from 3pm to 5pm they serve afternoon tea in the Veranda Lounge. To supplement their fine selection of teas, you receive a tiered tray complete with exquisite tea sandwiches and tea cakes. Besides tea, the Veranda Lounge features a menu offering a modest selection of salads, snacks, sandwiches and entrée’s. The Veranda Lounge is known for its all-white décor and its floor-to-ceiling glass doors, which open up to a picturesque terrace and allow you to take in the breathtaking views. This makes it unquestionably the best place to sit back and enjoy Bermuda style living at its finest.

Blue Point
Blue PointFor casual, poolside dining with alfresco seating and glorious ocean views, Blue Point is a popular choice. The restaurant has a striking look to accompany its eclectic menu of seafood, contemporary dishes, as well as a range of healthy Spa dishes, everything prepared and served fresh from the open kitchen. Choose from a variety of delicious salads, as well as favorites like spicy, refreshing Gazpacho soup, or Cedar smoked salmon in honey mustard dressing. Alternatively go for something more substantial such as their one-of-a-kind gourmet pizzas or the classic Bermuda burger with French fries. And remember to leave room for a dessert. Blue point offers a tempting array of ice creams and other delicious sweets.

Deep
DeepThe Deep is one of the most exclusive night spots in Bermuda. With its state of the art light and sound system, it has an exciting atmosphere, whilst retaining an air of elegance. Decor is luxurious, and the superb champagne, wine and cocktail lists are guaranteed to make every night go with a swing. With its dance floor and private rooms, it’s the premier place to party – as proven by its accolade for ‘Best Night Out on the Town for Music & Dancing’ at the “Best of Bermuda” Gold Awards, 2003.

SeabreezeSeabreeze
Sea Breeze is aptly named. Located on the hotel’s sea terrace, it enjoys a stunning, panoramic vista of Bermuda’s best beach. It’s a beautiful location to indulge in cocktails or aperitifs from their full bar before dinner, as well as wine service throughout the evening.
