Continental Breakfast is served only in the Main House daily.

Lunch 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Lunch is served daily on the Pool Terrace, the Ocean Terrace or in the Main Dining Room. Picnic box lunches may be prepared for you upon request. Please place your order at the Front Desk or with the Maitre'd the night before.

Afternoon tea 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Complimentary Afternoon Tea is served daily on the Pool Terrace or in the Main Lounge.

Dinner 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Dinner is served on the Ocean Terrace, Barbeque Terrace or in the Middleton Room. Jacket and Tie are requested for gentlemen each evening except on the Friday Barbeque evenings that are held May through October, weather permitting. Bermuda shorts (with long stockings) are always considered acceptable attire in the evenings.

Bar 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
The barmen serve wonderful cocktails and island specialties in the old style English Pub.

Room Service
Room Service is available for breakfast and dinner. You may order from the menu 30 minutes before the scheduled mealtime. There is no charge for breakfast room service. In the evening, however, there is a charge of $5.00 per person.

Dine-a-round
Horizons guests may enjoy reciprocal dining at their two sister properties, Waterloo House and The Coral Beach & Tennis Club. Reservations should be made in advance through the Front Desk in order to avoid disappointment.

Coral Beach and Tennis Club
Guests at Horizons & Cottages are encouraged to enjoy all the facilities of its sister property, an exclusive private members club, The Coral Beach and Tennis Club. Coral Beach possesses the finest private beach on the island as well as superb flood lit tennis courts, croquet, putting, squash, bowls, a fully equipped fitness center with personal trainer and a European Spa. Coral Beach is just across the road or a quick trip by 'Jitney'.

Beach and swimming
A vacation in the sun is meant to be complete leisure. The famous fresh water pool is a great gathering place for all the guests. Relax in a comfy chaise, sip a refreshing cooler, read your favorite book and enjoy the spectacular view which gives them their name "Horizons". If you prefer at any time, Coral Beach Club's private beach offers the soft pink sand and the tranquil warm water you have heard about. In the season, attendants are available to make you comfortable in a chaise or chair, with an umbrella when needed. Coral Beach is a five minute walk away.

Golf
Bermuda is a golfer's paradise. They have reciprocal arrangements with all the Island's fine courses. A challenging 'mashie' course at Horizons & Cottages is at your doorstep. ('Mashie' - Scottish for a golf club, about a 7-iron.) A few clubs and extra balls are all you need and these are available for rent at the Front Desk.

Tennis
Enjoy three championship courts right beside your cottage. Or, be their guest! While staying at Horizons & Cottages, you may be introduced to the private Coral Beach & Tennis Club. The Club's pro is delighted to arrange games, lessons, and challenging matches. Changing rooms, lockers, and showers are available. Please adhere to the Club's policy of all-white tennis attire.

Fitness centre
The gym is located on the Coral Beach Club property one level below the lobby, directly across the stairs leading to the beach. The cardiovascular room houses three treadmills, one Stairmaster, a Cybex bike, a Precor Elliptical trainer, two Concept 2 rowing machines, Reebok Slides and Steps with videos. There is a television and VCR if you would like to bring your own tapes or watch direct satellite television. The weight room has a weight system, single use machines, free weights and several benches. Hotel guests pay a daily fee of $10 to use the fitness center.

Squash
Two international courts are ready for your playing pleasure at the Coral Beach & Tennis Club at any time. Again the pro of his assistants can arrange games, racquets, etc. for you.

Croquet
These lawn games are maintained for your enjoyment. Please ask for equipment from the Front Desk.

Snorkeling
Many tours of the Bermuda reefs are available, including a weekly visit to Nonsuch Island, a bird sanctuary. Snorkeling and scuba gear are available. Please ask the Front Desk.

Pool
The crystal fresh water pool and many umbrella tables and chairs add to the relaxation and comfort. The pool is heated in the cooler months. 'Miranda', the statue in the pool is a sculpture by a well known local artist. Miranda has watched over swimmers for many years.

Nature walks
The Manager leads a brisk walk, of about an hour and a half on Saturdays, through some fascinating parts of Bermuda. See the old Railway Trail, working farms, the last untouched seascape in Bermuda, a bird sanctuary and many rare endemic plants and trees. Please call the Front Desk for details.

Beauty Spa
They strive to provide you with an oasis of tranquility and well being in an otherwise busy world. They believe in the principle that pleasure is good for you. They therefore offer you an opportunity to delight in a special moment in time, the benefits of which you will feel both during your visit and afterwards. The Spa is a short distance away at Coral Beach Club. It is open daily and offers a full range of relaxing facial treatments and body wraps by Decleor of Paris. Beauty services include facials, manicures, pedicures, hot stone treatments, massages, caci, futurtech, herbal wraps, seaweed and hairdressing. The Spa features several climate-controlled treatment suites all fitted with the highest quality face and body equipment and each offering adjustable sound and light to create the perfect ambiance for a wide range of treatments.
