| The hotel is surrounded on three sides by the beautiful Port Royal 18-hole Championship Golf Course, owned and operated by the Bermuda Government. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this challenging par-71 course has become a firm favorite of both visiting and local golfers.
Port Royal's four "Plexipave" tennis courts, two of which are floodlit for night play, are less than a five minute walk away from Munro Beach Cottages. Advanced starting times for golf and tennis can be arranged through the office. The waters off Munro Beach Cottages offer the finest Pompano and Bone fishing in Bermuda, and fish like Grey Snapper can be caught from the shoreline. Charter boats for both reef and deep sea fishing can easily be arranged. At low tide the South Shore reef line is within wading distance of their beach - very handy for snorkeling.
Pedal cycling and jogging are both popular in Bermuda, and the quiet location is ideally suited for these pursuits. |
