Biras Creek is located on a strip of land between two hills on a 140 acre peninsula. It can only be reached by boat. The property touches three distinct bodies of water: the enormous protected lagoon of North Sound, the open Atlantic Ocean, and a Caribbean bay -- a paradise for swimming, sailing, and snorkeling, at the edge of the resort's private white sand beach.
Twenty oceanside suites are scattered along Berchers Bay on the Atlantic shore, plus eight suites through the landscaped garden. Two Grand Suites have panoramic windows facing the sea, oversized terraces, and free standing bathtubs with separate large showers. An oceanside Premier Suite has a magnificent living room separating two spacious bedrooms each with a large bathroom/dressing area and a private porch overlooking the seashore.
The hub of the property is a hill-top stone "castle", holding the reception area, dining room, private dining room and bar.
The restaurant and terrace bar are at the highest levels giving breathtaking views of the Sound through its "open walls". In the evening, diners sit at candle-lit tables, looking out over the sunset, selecting from an award winning cuisine menu and an excellent selection of wines.
Nearby is the Arawak Pavilion with its big screen DVD and lounge chairs for reading, relaxing, and enjoying spectacular sunsets and vistas over the North Sound. Guests will also find the wireless internet access, library, and fitness area here as well as delicious afternoon tea.
Beautiful, Intimate, Restful, Active, Sophisticated... that spells BIRAS.
