Sandcastle Hotel, Jost Van Dyke
Amenities and facilities
Dining The open-air, beachfront restaurant is the setting for all the meals.
Lunch is a casual affair. Orders are placed at the bar and delivered to wherever you may be sitting.
The four-course candlelit dinner includes soup, salad, main course and dessert with coffee or tea. Each night they offer a choice of fish, poultry or meat entree. The soups, desserts, dressings and bread are made fresh daily in the kitchen.
Soggy Dollar: Sandcastle is the home of the Soggy Dollar Bar, the birthplace of the "Painkiller" (a very popular rum drink among many guests who sail or motor into White Bay). Since they have no dock, many people swim ashore from their boats and buy their drinks with "soggy dollars".
Activities Sandcastle is located on White Bay which has one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the Caribbean with clear turquoise water, and an exceptionally nice snorkeling reef. Most of the activities, therefore, center around the beach and water.

Be sure to ask about the "Bubbly Pool" - members of the staff will gladly arrange for you to spend some time there and pack a picnic for your trip.
