Beef Island Airport (EIS) and airports in the BVI's are not large enough for big jets so International flights must come through St.Thomas (STT), San Juan (SJU), or St. Martin (SXM). A departure tax is levied at the rate of $10.00 per person leaving by air.
-Daily flights from San Juan to Tortola's Beef Island Airport are scheduled by American Eagle, LIAT and Air Sunshine.
-Flights from San Juan to Virgin Gorda are scheduled Mondays to Saturdays by Air St. Thomas.
-From St. Thomas to Beef Island - Daily flights are scheduled by LIAT, CaribAir, Air Sunshine and on Monday, Wednesday, Friday on: Clair Aero.
-From St. Thomas to Virgin Gorda - there scheduled flights on Mondays to Saturdays via Air St. Thomas.
-From St. Thomas to Anegada - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on: Clair Aero.
-From St. Croix to Beef Island - daily on: Air Sunshine.
-Charter flights to Tortola, Virgin Gorda and Anegada are available with Fly BVI.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
All visitors are required to carry a valid passport. Visitors from certain countries may also require visas. To confirm whether or not a visa is required, visitors should contact the Chief Immigration Officer, the nearest British Consulate or the nearest BVI Tourist Board Office.

Regular ferry services provide a convenient way of exploring the islands. Boats run from Tortola to Virgin Gorda, Peter Island and Jost Van Dyke.
Fares between Tortola & St. John are approximately $40 adult round-trip (Children 3 - 11 $28.) Fares from Tortola to Virgin Gorda are approximately $20 adult round-trip. Fares from Tortola (West End) to Jost Van Dyke are approximately $15 adult round-trip.
DRIVER LICENCE
You will need to produce your valid license to purchase a temporary British Virgin Islands driving license (US$10), which you obtain through the rental company. Driving is on the left (British style) and cars are left hand-drive (US style).
