Beaches of Cayman Islands

All beaches in the Cayman Islands are public. There are no lifeguards on duty. The beaches of The Cayman Islands feature powder soft sand shaded by palm trees and bordered by calm crystalline water.

Seven Mile Beach
Seven Mile BeachOn the west coast of Grand Cayman, Seven Mile Beach (5,6 miles long) is the most famous the Cayman beaches and is home to most of the Cayman's water sport operations. Off the beaten trail at the west end of 7-Mile Beach, Cemetery Beach is known for both its superb snorkeling and fantastic beach.

Cayman Kai
Cayman KaiOne of the Cayman's most tranquil beaches. Tucked away on the north side of Grand Cayman, Cayman Kai covers 400 acres and has more than six miles of beach. It is low density, mostly private homes on half acre sites. It has the famous Rum Point Beach: away from the crowds, this tranquil spot with its shade trees, picnic tables and pearly white beaches is an ideal spot for swimming, sunning, or snoozing (perfect for children and novice swimmers).

Smith's Cove
Smith's CoveLocated on the south side of Grand Cayman, Smith's Cove is a beautiful, protected limestone cove. The site features a white, sandy bottom with lovely coral head formations and small tropical fish.
