Restaurant and bar Castro's Hideaway is named for the most famous (or infamous, depending on your point of view) member of The Reef, Castro the Cockatoo, whose fascinating life story you can read here.
This beach bar and grill is in tune with the atmosphere of The Reef, being a relaxed tropical beachfront setting, but with the emphasis on service in the unique style that The Reef is known for.
Castro's Hideaway offers breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the pristine waters of Colliers Bay.

Due to resort expansion, their gym will be closed from May 15th 2006 until further notice.
