 The Calabash Hotel is located on Lance aux Epines Beach in the parish of St. George's in the south of the tropical island of Grenada. It is only an eight-minute taxi journey away from Point Salines International Airport. |
 The Calabash Hotel was originally opened in the 1960s and since that time has been completely rebuilt. The hotel consists of 30 suites set in a horseshoe in the eight acres of landscaped gardens on Prickley Bay. Each suite enjoys splendid views across the lawns bordering on the calm sea of Prickley Bay. Adjacent to Jefferson's Beach Bar there are a rinsing shower, shade trees and numerous sunloungers. For beach entertainment, the hotel has shuffleboard, boules and complimentary non-motorised watersports. It also has a large fresh water swimming pool, which is situated in a quiet area of the grounds. Other facilities include Tennis Court, Fitness Room, Aromatherapy centre, Boutique & Snooker Room with TV and Library. |
