The Sugar Mill: Tiny twinkling lights softly illuminate the original stone terrace and entryway that welcomes guests to the enchanting Sugar Mill restaurant. Dine al fresco and enjoy a magical evening of gourmet contemporary Jamaican cuisine, live music and romance. The Sugarmill is open for dinner only and is available for private parties and receptions.
Il Giardino: Step into the elegantly frescoed Il Giardino and you are instantly transported to a wonderfully romantic restaurant, somewhere on the coast of Italy. The mouth-watering menu was created by their internationally-trained chefs and offers a variety of beautifully presented authentic Italian dishes.
Seagrape Terrace: Named after the prickly Seagrape tree found throughout the Resort, the Seagrape Terrace is shaded by fragrant Almond trees and overlooks Sunset Beach. Beckoning guests throughout the day, the Seagrape offers tasty lunches, traditional afternoon tea, delightful snacks and gourmet dining after sunset.
Casual Dining
They invite you to unwind at one of their refreshing restaurants and enjoy the ocean breeze while taking in the magnificent views. The Akbar Restaurant serves authentic Tandoori and Moghlai cuisine prepared by genuine Moghlai chefs. The Royal Pavilion is the perfect place for a quick snack and a cold drink before heading out to a day on the beach. La Baguette is an al fresco bar that offers a light continental breakfast and sandwiches throughout the day. Take the time to visit Half Moon's one of a kind English pub, The Royal Stocks to enjoy a pint and a plate of fish and chips of your choice. End your evening by joining them for a Beach Bar-b-que.
The Akbar Restaurant: In the finest Mogul tradition they bring you the treasures of Akbar's kitchen, they invite you to sit down and savour authentic Tandoori and Moghlai cuisine offered to you and prepared by genuine Moghlai chefs. Every measure is taken to ensure each meal will be a unique experience in gourmet dining.
La Baguette: Surrounded by plush décor and the soothing Caribbean breezes by the Oleander Terrace, La Baguette specializes in mouth watering grilled fare. It has an inviting "come as you are" dress code which underlies Half Moon's atmosphere of barefoot elegance in a relaxed beachfront setting.
The Royal Stocks: Pull up a stool and order a pint and a plate of fish and chips at this fun and authentic English Pub. The name "Royal Stocks" honours a visit of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Philip.
Beach Bar-b-Que: Looking for a fun, casual and relaxed venue? You will love the Beach Barbecue space on Sunrise Beach. The beach is an ideal locale for evening gatherings under the stars as you enjoy sumptuous delights of spicy Jamaican jerk amid enchanting music. Non-spicy meals available for children.

Half Moon offers an unparalleled range of activities for even the most discriminating traveler.
Dolphin Lagoon
An unforgettable experience, the natural Dolphin Lagoon lets you meet, swim and even kiss the dolphins. As unique as it is exclusive, Half Moon is the only resort in the Caribbean to offer this incredible experience, on-site. The large ocean lagoon allows guests to come face-to-face with these fascinating mammals. Trained handlers provide a detailed orientation and education session, introducing participants to the world of the dolphins. Next is the truly exciting experience; guests don life jackets and enter the sea for an adventure with these dorsal friends. Guests are amazed at how close they can get with their resident dolphins and how friendly, intelligent and charming they can be. Open since April 2003, the Half Moon Dolphin Lagoon is one of the most popular activities available, and reservations should be made upon arrival at Half Moon.
Pools
Half Moon boasts 51 freshwater pools, most of which are assigned to private cottages, suites or villas. There are three main pools available to all guests the Hibiscus Swim-Up Pool, Oleander Pool, and the Olympic-sized Lap Pool. Both the Hibiscus and Oleander pools are free-form, freshwater pools and the Lap Pool is the Olympic-size swimming pool. Guests are asked to observe all posted pool rules. Three Jacuzzis are located in the Hibiscus Pool area.
Spa
Tucked far away from the fast-paced material world is a natural paradise embraced by two arms; one of the land and one of the sea. The Fern Spa at Half Moon is a nurturing refuge with native Caribbean healing powers drawn from both land and sea. Spa guests at the Half Moon have the opportunity to reconnect with who they are and what they need. Services, treatments and facility design fulfill the healing experience by uniting the whole through a careful focus on balance and symmetry as the metaphors of healing that begins when the two arms of land and sea intersect to provide guests with a truly unique experience.

Guests at Half Moon can continue their healthy lifestyles or add something new, with the state-of-the-art fitness centre and full range of yoga, aerobic and pilates classes. Personal trainers are also available at the Centre as well as for in-room, private classes.
Beaches
Named for the sunrise and sunset, and dotted with palm trees, the two crescent-shaped beaches are just right for long walks, cool dips and lazy afternoons. To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, no motorized water sports are allowed in Half Moon bay. Lifeguards are only on duty during certain hours of the day, and red flag warnings must always be observed.
Tennis & Squash
Superbly manicured, the 13 tennis courts, all lit for nighttime play, are a dream to play on, no matter what level. Their experienced and certified tennis professionals offer clinics, private lessons and summer camps for all levels and ages. Four international squash courts and squash equipment are also available for guests at Half Moon. Lessons can be scheduled with any of the qualified Tennis Pros.
Equestrian Centre
Explore the beauty and lush, tropical landscape of Half Moon on horseback. Ride through Half Moon's Nature Reserve or along bridle paths that wind through the cool hills and valleys and enjoy this unique experience. Equestrians of all levels are welcome to enjoy a variety of activities, lessons and beach rides. With 28 carefully selected and groomed mounts, experienced trail masters, a Polo Arena and Jumping Arena, Rocky Point Stables at Half Moon offers one of the finest equestrian experiences in the Caribbean. Please plan on wearing long pants and walking shoes or sneakers. Riding helmets, available at the Equestrian Centre, are also recommended.
Watersports and Beach Activities
Snorkel, sail, dive, wind surf, water ski, kayak and cruise the Caribbean. The choice is yours at Half Moon. The aquatic experts, Captains Watersports and Dive Centre, provide everything from equipment to certified instructors, as well as offering nearby dive sites that teem with a variety of fish, coral and caverns.
Shopping
With nearly 40 specialty shops and boutiques, guests will want to make time to explore and shop at Half Moon. The extraordinary selection of duty-free boutiques and array of one-of-a-kind shops can be found in The Shopping Arcade, near the Hotel Lobby and at the more extensive Half Moon Shopping Village, just a quick shuttle ride away.
Children’s Village
Introducing the Anancy Children’s Village at Half Moon - themed after Jamaica’s fabled children’s character Anancy the Spider. Borrowing from the witty spider made famous in Jamaican folklore, the children’s play area is modeled after a village concept with buildings ablaze with a mosaic of brightly coloured hues guaranteed to enliven the senses of young visitors. Anancy and his friends form the central theme around which activities and learning programmes planned for children aged 3 to 12.
