This restored, superb Swedish building now houses the museum on the ground floor, where you can discover both the French and Swedish history of St. Barts, and the well stocked library on the first floor. Not to be missed while you're on the island. Corossol Take a visit to Corossol, one of the oldest villages on the island, and you will meet some of the elder ladies weaving the latania palm. Ideal as a souvenir and probably the oldest craft in St. Barts.
This is another 17th century fort, situated on the way out of Gustavia. There is a panoramic table so that you may identify all the neighboring islands which can be seen and locate all the main buildings and highlights of Gustavia.
Horse Riding An unusual way of visiting St. Barts but probably the most fun. You can also reach places which are hardly accessible by foot.
Inter Oceans Museum This is the second shell museum in the world. Here, you will discover shells, coral and crustacean, the likes of which you have never seen before. Chat to Ingénu Magras, the owner, who is a mine of information. You have other twenty beaches from which to choose. Calm beaches, rough beaches, white sand or shells. It's up to you.
