Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) is located on the Dutch side, west of Philipsburg and near Simpson Bay. Grand Case Airport is located on the French side, north of Marigot and close to Grand Case. The departure tax is $30 per person payable cash.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
U.S. and Canadian visitors require a valid passport and a return/continuing ticket.
TAXIS
Taxis are widely available on the island. They have no meters, but all carry government-issued rate sheets with the prices for destinations throughout the island, based on two passengers per trip.
FERRY BOAT SCHEDULE: St. Martin-Anguilla and St. Martin-St. Bart
From Marigot Bay, St. Martin to Blowing Point, Anguilla: 20 minutes
Daily ferries depart from 7:30am and at 30 min. intervals.
Fare (subject to change): US$12 day, US$14 at night (departure tax US$3)
From St Maarten/St. Martin to Gustavia, St. Barth - M/V Voyager I & II depart from the waterfront in Marigot (about a 25 minute cab ride from the airport), St. Martin, and from Oyster Pond (Captain Oliver's marina), St. Martin, bound for Gustavia.

- The Rapid Explorer operated by Om Express: a fast service (40 minutes) to St Barths from/to Philipsburg (Dutch St Maarten). The ride from the St. Maarten Juliana airport to the Philipsburg is about 15 - 20 minutes by taxi.

- There is also a motorized catamaran named Edge that comes to Gustavia once a day from Tuesday till Saturday. It leaves from Pelican Marina in Dutch St. Maarten at 9 AM.
