 BeachesTo learn more about beaches, click here. Bicycling At Meadville you can rent both mountain bikes and racing bicycles. Boating Cruising and sailing are becoming increasingly popular in St. Kitts & Nevis. There are many local captains and boats available for hire, by the day or week.  GolfAn 18-hole international golf championship course is at Frigate Bay and a 9-hole course at Golden Rock, both on St Kitts. There is also an 18-hole championship golf course on Nevis. Hiking and Mountain Climbing There's some good hiking on the islands, but the tracks into the interior of St Kitts and Nevis are not well defined, so it's advisable to do any major trekking with a guide. Guided hikes are available into the rainforests and estate ruins of St Kitts and up the slopes of Nevis Peak. If you want more speed you can rent a mountain bike on Nevis. |
 Horseback RidingMost hotels will make arrangements for you. Trips on St. Kitts include beach riding or riding to the rain forest. Shopping Most shops are open from 8:00 to 16:00 Monday to Saturday, while some close in the afternoon on Thursday. Locally produced items are: crafts, pottery, batik, cotton clothing, wood carvings, jewelry, furniture, ornaments, paintings, straw mats. Snorkeling & Scuba Diving Snorkeling and Scuba Diving are recently becoming established on the islands. Favorite places for snorkeling is White House Bay on St Kitts' south eastern peninsula and Oualie Beach in Nevis. A popular scuba dive spot is Sandy Point Bay. |
 Sport FishingAlthough sport fishing has not traditionally numbered among the islands' favored activities, careful conservation efforts have succeeded in attracting serious game fish to the waters surrounding these islands. Tennis A number of tennis courts are available on both islands, and clubs welcome visitors. Day passes can be purchased. Many of the hotels have their own tennis courts. Some courts are floodlit for evening play.  Water SkiingWater-skiing equipment are available for hire (Frigate Bay…). Jet skiis can be rented. Windsurfing Board rentals and lessons are available (Oualie Bay, Turtle Beach…). |
