Beaches of the Turks and Caicos |
 Grace Bay Beach (Provo)On the north-east coast of Provo stretching over several miles. White, sandy beach, easily accessible, clear turquoise water. Several water sport activities like Parasailing, Windsurfing. It is considered to be one of the best beaches of the entire Caribbean! Leeward Beach (Provo) At the eastern end of Grace Bay, various roads and paths in the Leeward area lead to this long beach where you find both, white sand, as well as cliffs and stone jetties. Beaches tend to be narrow. The Bight Beach (Provo) Easily accessible beach on the north-east coast, very quiet. Coral Gardens (Provo) Neighboring the Bight, this white sand beach in front of the White House is also excellent for snorkeling and includes an underwater training path. Smith Reef Beach (Provo) On the north at the mouth of the Turtle Cove Pond. Only a few yards from the beach Smith Reef offers a pristine snorkeling spot.  Sapodilla Bay Beach (Provo)Provo's southernmost beach, stretching over a quarter mile. Its clear shallow water offers good protection for yachts. Longbay Beach (Provo) In the south of the island with only a few access points and shallow water; which tends to be warmer than on the North coast. You may "own" a mile of beach for you only. Calm and secluded. Malcolm Road (Provo) Hidden and secluded white sand beach on the north-west coast that provides good snorkeling. Accessible only with a Jeep, approximately five mile trekking through sandy hills and bushes. Tiki huts which were built for a TV show several years ago, still protect you from the sun. |
