A wide range of hotels in Turks and Caicos from classic hotels to luxury and design hotels
The Meridian Club, Turks & Caicos 12 spacious beachfront guest rooms and the secluded Sand Dollar cottage
Club Guest Rooms Guests staying in the Club Rooms -- set among sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes -- can step right off their porch and be in the water in less than a minute.
Each one of these rooms looks out on to the pristine and unbelievably beautiful two-mile-long beach. All are spacious and suite-like, with separate bedrooms and lounging alcoves, leading into screened-in porches overlooking the sea. The breeze from ceiling fans whirling overhead joins the gentle trade winds flowing through large windows and patio doors.
Simply furnished in a tropical decor, the rooms are comfortable and attractive. Each one contains one king or two twin beds, lots of pillows, and a small library of books for your reading pleasure.
The "suite" layout includes a large bathroom with two lavatory areas, a shower, and a dressing area with plenty of shelves for beachwear and clothing.
The screened-in porch -- with its table, chairs and ever-changing sea views -- make it the perfect place for breakfast or early morning coffee. Just beyond, the outdoor patio has an outdoor shower enclosed with bamboo walls.
Sand Dollar Guest Cottage (top picture)
Sand Dollar Cottage is the ideal choice for honeymooners and others seeking privacy, seclusion and natural tranquillity. At a distance from the resort's other rooms, it sits only steps from the beach in a grove of swaying Casuarina pines.
Hexagonal in shape and generous in size, the cottage has a cool and inviting interior with a king bed, a large bathroom and shower, chairs, a ceiling fan, a traditional flagstone floor and a spacious screened-in porch.
Sea grapes and tropical foliage surround the cottage and, directly in front, lies a thatched hut with beach chairs overlooking the sea.
